Shame is that if Warne had half the brain or courage he shows as a bowler, he could've been a top batsman.
And if he had twice as much brains as he has he'd still be an idiot off the field.

What a pathetic way to get out. It was a good ball on a desperate occasion and Clark handed his wicket.

Who saw after Warne bowled Flintoff and made a conscious effort to call to him as he walked off & then gestured applause.

Rare to see that. When compared to Pontings facial blow at Lords when the English just ignored it in a forced attempt to look tough.

Classy stuff from Warne to rise above it.

Hard lines about the fiver, BTW. Nearly came off! :D
i know, i was playing football, the first friendly of the season and when we kicked off they were 150-9, so i thought i'd won, but there was some tournament going on at the place where we were playing and the PA guy announced we were all out for 182 :( seeing as i was playing like a combination of the bad bits of Phil Neville and Emile Heskey it compounded the agony.

But its all good now :)

Nah, that was because Freddie lent him 40 pence for a Mars bar yesterday when Warney started "wasting away"

No i agree, Warne is hard and a fighter, but he knows fairness and gives credit where it's due.

i think you can say that about most of the australian team....its something that, if they werent our enemy, i would be very proud of.

warne is a class act...if not a little bit gay with clarke, mcgrath and lee.

i think langer is another classy guy.

for the record, what do you want the english players to do? its not like the australians would have been clambering to caress trescothicks head if he had been beamed by lee.

I only saw the last bit when I got home, but how ridiculous were Michael Clarke's antics when Flintoff bowled him that alleged beamer? I mean, the ball passed below Clarke's knee, yet he was claiming it was a beamer! I mean, please be serious Clarkie!

Whatever his other faults, I don't think, given the recent press, one can seriously level "gay" as an accusation at Warney! :p

Langer really gets on my ****. It's his slightly pompous pronouncements & supercilious smile. Plus, like many short men, he seems to be a bit too obsessed in proving his “hardness”.

FWIW Gilchrist, Martyn, Katich & Kasper all seem absolute gentlemen.

At least he wasn't out LBW to his "beamer" then complained about it with filthy language like the South African, Pietersen.

warne and others have the sweaty sly, lets all touch other men, quality of several gay guys i know.

its in the eyes and slightly mincing mannerisms of them.

altho australian men do, in general, have a little bit of over masculine compensatory things going on....the guys i listed are all a tad homo.

on englands side vaughn, bell, tresco, g jones all have a similar thing.

And you go and miss the most blatent of the lot, Pietersen.

you blatantly have no eye for these things.

pietersen is nowhere near gay....altho a certain mr. ponting has a little bit of *** feeling in him me thinks.

seriously....the gayest of the lot has to be michael vaughn, that nervous, sweatiness around other men.
