Okay, the first ball was just a good one that induced a bad shot... this one was an absolute and utter gem. Three down.

Amazing what happens when you bowl in the right spot.

Tresco's footwork is so poor, i.e. non-existent, that a consistent line and length will eventually get him out on most occasions.

BTW, FOD, I disagree with you assessment of Vaughan. His technique still looks dodgy to me.
He's still playing the back of a length off-stump delivery with the bat coming down angled, just Gillespie and Kasper aren't fast enough to exploit it. Still trying to figure out how Bell managed to edge that delivery.

Bell looks out of water so far. Wondering if Collingwood should have been brought in. Form goes quickly so use it while you can.

Seriously, what are you on? Have you ever seen a wicket you actually thought was deserved?

That Kasprowicz ball was absolutely fantastic. It was to a new batsman, and went the other way from everything he has bowled. Everything else has cut away from the left-handers, or in to the right-handers. This one left a right-hander who was new to the wicket and couldn't do anything about it. You'll never see a wicket more deserved by the bowler than that.

He probably deserved Tresco, but he bowled two crap deliveries to Bell and one line and length delivery that didn't move off the straight.

On the contrary, the Tresco one was just a good ball that left him a bit, and Tresco got himself out as he quite often does outside off-stump. The bell one was just brilliant, and if you don't think that moved off the straight you really need to watch it again, and keep in mind that Kasprowicz bowls from wide on the crease and his natural angle is in to the right-hander. The ball that got Bell slanted in on that angle, straigtened off the seam and got the edge.

Real no ball problems here. Kasprowicz has had them all day.

Kasper follows 2 wicket over with 3 consecutive half-volleys including 2 no-balls.

Aus has reall played s**t cricket today.

Pieterson and Vaughan warming up here, careful Warne. :D

England need to calm it here, there's 400 to be had if we play sensibly.

Then there's 600 to be had by Australia if they play sensibly.

Glenn McGrath has a grade two tear of lateral ankle ligaments. Which means he's out for next week at least, and possibly longer.
