Three drops in the match for pietersen now. Reminds awfully of Clarke's start... great fielder, batted well in his first test, but put down a bunch of catches.

If Australia score 300 in their second innings they win, so 3/140 is a good place to be with Katich and Gilchrist to come. Only Harmison is bowling really well for England, and he's wicketless.
He's been bowling quite well yeah, but not brilliantly, too many loose balls to go with the good ones, like Jones. Hoggard hasn't done much in either spell, and Jones has bowled some rippers and a pile of crap. Giles two fairly harmless overs, not getting much turn.King_Ponting said:Flintoff has been bowling well from what ive seen as well.
Giles never seems to bowl around the wicket. He just floats it into the footmarks and tries to get batsmen out trying to hit him against the spin... standard giles dismissal is when someone tries to hit him out of the rough and miss it due to the spin, or simply play an awkward shot and get caught.SirBloody Idiot said:Why not bowl Giles around the wicket.
Doesn't look dangerous early at all.
He got quite a few LBWs against South Africa last year bowling around the wicket.FaaipDeOiad said:Giles never seems to bowl around the wicket. Did he? I missed a bit of that series because I went interstate, when I came back he wasn't bowling due to injury, so I'm mostly going on last English summer and before.Jono said:He got quite a few LBWs against South Africa last year bowling around the wicket.
