Remember the bad old days with BBC where they would cut away to the news every hour, Horse racing on weekends, Winmbledon if it clashed with the cricket and even neighbours on weekdays. God I hated that.

I still don't get it. Which means more to our respective publics? A bunch of leprechauns riding on dodgy kebab meat and a bunch of men in tight latex outfits riding on a bike, or a cricket series over a hundred years old that's probably the biggest series and rivalry in the sport? They had prior commitments as mentioned. Channel 9 has commitments to AFL/NRL.

Channel 7 should have taken it as they don't have any serious commitments that i can think of
