Huh, that must be just as annoying as when Channel 4 cuts out coverage for Horse Racing. Seriously, Horse Racing must be the most boring "sport" In the world.
Yea, I still haven't found any adequate destressing techniques for when that 'sport' interrupts the cricket.

Alec Stewarts style of commentating was bloody strange. His voice would change between high pitched and low pitched virtually every other word.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Ah yes, but SBS had the rights, and the commitment, to broadcast the tour long before they got the Ashes, so there's not much we can do there. And it ends on Sunday night.

So the next 4 tests will be cycle free.

Looking foward to Sundays final stage. Is always interesting :)

Remember the bad old days with BBC where they would cut away to the news every hour, Horse racing on weekends, Winmbledon if it clashed with the cricket and even neighbours on weekdays. God I hated that.

I still don't get it. Which means more to our respective publics? A bunch of leprechauns riding on dodgy kebab meat and a bunch of men in tight latex outfits riding on a bike, or a cricket series over a hundred years old that's probably the biggest series and rivalry in the sport? I'm sure the Aussies would have been heartbroken if SBS decided to cancel the end of the Tour ;o

They had prior commitments as mentioned. Channel 9 has commitments to AFL/NRL.

Channel 7 should have taken it as they don't have any serious commitments that i can think of

Anything over 250 would be tough to chase on this pitch, and 300+ would be extremely difficult. Really, England will need to bowl very, very well in the final session.

Indeed, as well as them both being corrupt sports.
