Stuff that, bring GBH on first.Nnanden said:Agreed. Bring Giles on.
lol, but anyway Ponting beggining to look good as we all know when he gets through his early innings worries has we have seen so many times in the past he normally scores a big one. Flintoff should come off now he bowled 4 balls on the pads in this over....Majin said:Seriously! Aleem Dar and Ian Bell need to get a room. xD
Yep. Giles would be worth a try if Harmison can't get a wicket though. The runs are just coming way too easily at the moment.Scaly piscine said:Stuff that, bring GBH on first.
That will probably be Tendulkar assuming he eventually recovers from his injury. He's only two years older than Ponting and has over 3,000 runs on him. Dravid two years older too and 700 runs ahead, Inzy five years older and 1,000 ahead, and Kallis is actually one year younger and has a few hundred runs on Ponting as well. Lara five years older and second in overall scoring now, closing in on Border. Ponting is next, among current players.aussie said:its 7000 to ricky , dont want to get to far ahead but Punters is young enough, fit enough & to me when he retires could be the leading runscorer in test....
I suspect you're right, But that statistic doesnt bring it out as most of those batsman have a similar average to ponting when they pass 20.FaaipDeOiad said:It's much more noticable with Ponting than others. If you don't get him out early he tends to make a big score, but he's quite vulnerable early on. Tendulkar recently is in the same boat, but players like Dravid, Kallis, Steve Waugh etc aren't so easy to get out early on. Regardless, the point is that if you let Ponting get set he's very dangerous, you need to exploit his technical problems early on.
well i didn't hear neither commentator say it, but i believe it means KP played very straight while he was batting...Majin said:What do they mean when they say Peiterson played "Gun Barrel Straight"?
