Ashraful has been dropped. Bad move IMO. Regardless of how bad his form is, I can't see Tushar or Alok scoring about 40 in any cirucmstances against Australia.
Exactly right.FaaipDeOiad said:I imagine he's been dropped as a message to him to wake up to himself. He might have a bit of talent, but the way Ashraful has been playing recently would cop criticism in club cricket. He's played some absolutely stupid shots, and has looked a mile short of international class. Perhaps a stint in domestic cricket will teach him some responsibility.

That may be true, but Bangladesh's first priority at the moment should be to win the next game. They have a better chance of doing so with Ashraful playing than the likes of Tushar and Kapali.FaaipDeOiad said:I imagine he's been dropped as a message to him to wake up to himself. Yep. Terrible move when you consider he is probally the only batsman that the Aussie bowlers would fear if he got on a roll.Prince EWS said:Ashraful has been dropped. Bad move IMO. Regardless of how bad his form is, I can't see Tushar or Alok scoring about 40 in any cirucmstances against Australia.
doesnt he open in OD? Unbelievable if he can average that much in OD openingsideshowtim said:cosgrove.
He hasn't been a regular opener in ODers for South Australia. Only really the last domestic season, and I think after a few guys returned from injuries he went back down the order.mefly said:doesnt he open in OD? Unbelievable if he can average that much in OD opening
he should stay opening, and should replace katich in ODI, also jacgues opening and gilly in the middle order, instead of RoyMister Wright said:He hasn't been a regular opener in ODers for South Australia. yeah he is really inconsistant too much for my liking, 0(6) is not good enough for a middle order batsman named andrew symonds against bangladesh not good enoughandyc said:You want to take Symonds out of the one day side?????
