It's still dicky.Neil Pickup said:For people watching, what's Razzak's action like? I know it's been flagged as dicky before.
It has a kink, particularly when he bowls a bit quicker than normal. Not as bad as Botha or anything though.Neil Pickup said:For people watching, what's Razzak's action like? I know it's been flagged as dicky before.
50mph?!!!cricman said:Sort Like Pathan but Bowls about 5-6 mph less than Pathan.
Good job it wasn't Cosgrove who entered the pool in that way, would've emptied it of water!andyc said:I guess if Clarke's out, Cosgrove will get a match. Should be interesting.
True, Rajin and Tushar barely bowl on the domestic circuit. That's why I expected Alok to play today. You can say that they might as well play four spinners, but you need two seamers for the first fifteen (or twenty, or whatever) because the spinners will otherwise just get picked off, and we haven't got enough spinners who can bat, like India have Yuvraj, Sachin, Sehwag.Prince EWS said:If Bashar truely believes Rajin and Tushar are his best attacking options on this pitch after Rafique and Razzak, why pick Mashrafe and Rasel in the first place? I'm seriously starting to believe Bangladesh should pick up to four specialist spinners in home matches. You can't tell me Enamul and Manjural would have done a worse job than Mashrafe and Rasel...
Alok was originally set to play but pulled out injured. Tushar took his place.True, Rajin and Tushar barely bowl on the domestic circuit. That's why I expected Alok to play today. Yeah I do hope he gets a run this series (which he should definetely do, given there's two more games). He does seem to be a huge potential, but as you said his weight is an issue. For an elite cricketer, there really is no excuse for being overweight, and I do hope he gets and stays in decent shape, because from what I've seen of him he could be a pivotal player in years to come.sideshowtim said:can't wait for cosgrove to get a hit. he has enormous (no pun intended) potential and will definitely be a permanent fixture in the one day side in about five years...he's probably still a few kilos over what he should be so losing some more weight may bring him some more fitness and maybe he'll be able to convert that into runs.
he has huge wraps from everyone who has seen him play. lehmann (although i must say he is a tad bias towards SA) has said he is the most talented young batsman in the country at the moment. speaking of talented batsmen we also have travis birt (scored 99 on county debut), cameron borgas, callum ferguson, george bailey, dominic thornley...and none have played an international match. we have a fair bit to look forward too.andyc said:Yeah I do hope he gets a run this series (which he should definetely do, given there's two more games). ... Dave Hussey, Marcus North, Aaron O'Brien, COSGROVE is the main one, he wont only perform in the one dayers but also in tests. he might get dropped looking back at past performances by selectors over inconsistency. He will start well though.sideshowtim said:he has huge wraps from everyone who has seen him play. lehmann (although i must say he is a tad bias towards SA) has said he is the most talented young batsman in the country at the moment. speaking of talented batsmen we also have travis birt (scored 99 on county debut), cameron borgas, callum ferguson, george bailey, dominic thornley...and none have played an international match. we have a fair bit to look forward too.
who?sideshowtim said:he was very, very consistent at the start of the domestic season...he averaged something like 300 in the ING cup due to being not out so much because he'd win the game off his own bat. does he have a county contract yet?
