Anderson is going home because of a family berivement, but he'll be back for the next ODI. So he won't be in the Test sorry to say. :(

Judging from the performances of your team, you should be the last to criticise a heavily understrength team playing the best team in the World!

Well i'm sorry to say that it was a very silly thing to say.Just because India is faring poorly in a different series doesn't mean that we can't comment and criticise pathetic display by the English team.
Secondarily, being understrength due to reasons well known by us which itself lead to criticism. The least the English selectors could have done was to pick a fully fit team!

Oh yes, because they could have forseen Jones injury, or Giles' or Vaughan's or Silverwood's or Anderson's grandparent dying.

Wow, you make the performances of a Team who have been destroyed by a team who only a few years ago was rated the worst Test Team in the world, positively heroic!

May I also add the fact that Flintoff should have been fit 2 months ago but no one can work out why he hasn't got better...not to say he would have done anything in the Tests though, after his performances in the summer I didn't think he warrented a place in the Touring Squad...let alone the Test Team...

They certainly SHOULD have not selected GOUGH, who had been on injury and rehabilitation since a long time and was never 100 percent fit!
And then there is flintoff!

Don't know what to make of this stement:rolleyes:   , as far as i know, India has been rated below New Zealand since a long time!

As for heroics, save the word for the great England team, afterall they are yet to achieve a drawn result against an Australian side (whether its against National team or against NSW).Such a result would make them real lifetime heroes in England!

Yes, but the fact remains that the majority of the injuries have happened out there, in unfortunate circumstances - cannot blame the selectors for those!

Erm, did we not draw with Aus 'A', Queensland, Western Australia?

England and SA have a real mental block against playing the Aussies. That gives the Aussies a big psychological edge even before the series starts.

India on the other hand has this mental block against playing overseas which explains their abysmally poor away record against most countries. I thought they were well on their way to shedding that "poor tourists " tag, but that was before this series.

This one will be for Pride!

Just read Nasser's statement in which he has said that they will be playing the 4th and 5th test maches and will go for victory for the sake of pride!!
So watch out Aussies, this time England might knock you down !!
