Maybe England should swap their Blind team for their Main team, seems as though they couldn't do much worse...
It was also an understrength England side - especially in the top to middle order - expect 2 or 3 to come in there for the series...Untill now people have been saying that the English team have been losing to a strong Aussie team, but their performance against a virtually unknown players is a real disgust!
Oh come on....aren't you tired of making these lame excuses? It was a pathetic performance by a completely demoralised team. All the talk of unscarred(mentally, I mean) youngsters making a difference to the one day side has not borne out by facts atleast.Originally posted by marc71178

No, I am not trying to slag off England nor am I saying that they are the worst side. I know they aren't. Most other teams would have fared badly in the same situation. However, their performance(test and limited overs) in this tour has been pathetic and that is an indisputable fact and no recalling of past performances can erase that fact.Originally posted by Rik
Lame excuses? No, we are trying to find the positives while everyone else seems to be trying to slag off a team who's not performing at the moment but have not done much wrong for about 2-3 years and are now called the worst side in the world...you want the worst side? Look at Bangladesh, 87 all out with a rookie taking 6-3...lay off it will you?
Talent where???? Certainly not on the ground.I'm not trying to mock the English team, but the fact is that they have been a total rubbish team. The PM eleven was not a strong team, yet English team crumbled so easily.Originally posted by Rik
I'd say that's pretty fair. England dissapoint but they have the talent there.
Obviously you have never seen Flintoff bat, or the fact that he won a game for England by taking 3 Wickets including 1 and a superb run out in the last over. Obviously you completely missed Collingwood's 71*, Hussain's Century in the Natwest Final, Trescothick's century in that game and when he was in India when he scored a blinding century before being given out to a ball which pitched a long way outside leg. Of course you must have missed Irani's batting and bowling when he single handedly destroyed India in the Natwest Series, or Blackwell's innings against India in the ICC Champion's Trophy. How about Nick Knight's Century and 70 odd against India in the ODI's in India? In order to come up with that statement then obviously you must have missed these performances and many many more.Originally posted by Choora

Yup but he's got to improve. Anyway to say England has no talent is a stupid remark. India are looking at Bangar for an all-rounder and England have found Flintoff and Irani, not bad eh?Originally posted by Tim
I hate to say this but Collingwoods 3 half centuries have come against fairly weak bowling attacks. 2 against Zimbabwe, 1 against India.
