Feels about right. Test cricket can be harsh on those who don't convert and four fifties and a 30 aren't really capitalising. But if Smith marshals the tail and hits three figures it's a long way back for India I reckon. That day is now only 60-40 Australia instead of being 90-10 which I feared. If we cant get them to less than 375, this game is dusted. Given how we bat, it may well be dusted anyways but just get a feeling we may bat far better here than we have been doing.
Must be the food in EnglandIt's been talked about to death but the more you see it the more ridiculous it is.
Why on Sams's hill would Kohli make a fool of himself like that. It's actually so far beyond stupidity that it's embarrassing for the game.

He used to do this all the time at his peak. Back when he and Warner carried the batting. He looks mentally much more into it, wonders not coming at 20/2 can do.
It's extremely normal to feel agitated when you don't get enough attention in your late 30s. Konstas was hogging all the attention and Virat simply couldn't take itIt's been talked about to death but the more you see it the more ridiculous it is.

As I said in my endless wisdom.Wow after a terrible start that turned into a decent day of cricket - the 3 proper batsman making a few but not overdoing it, and the boshers at 6/7 rightfully failing.
holy **** you’ve just explained my posting for the last 5 yearsIt's extremely normal to feel agitated when you don't get enough attention in your late 30s.
Will Green be fit for SL? Surely he'd be a mustAgree. This is the best XI currently for spin/dirt tracks. Konstas doesnt have what it takes on spinning tracks IMHO.
1.Head
2.Khawaja(best player of spin in the side)
3.Labuschagne
4Smith
5. Inglis/Handscomb
6Beau Webster (pace/off spin all rounder) / Glenn Maxwell -this position replaces the struggling Marsh.
7Alex Carey (w/k)
8Pat Cummins (c)
9 Todd Murphy
10 Kuhnemann
11 N Lyon.
here u got 4 spinners, so if the track rips, then u should get wickets..the murphy/kuhnemann/lyon combo won a test in india...
SL have very good spinners, very good attack-. Vandersay is a very good leggie and Mendis is an offie with Prabath as the left arm spinner.
Vandersay, Prabath Jayasuriya and Ramesh Mendis
This is why the field they set when Sundar was bowling made no sense. Smith will eat up singles all day. There’s been few blokes better at milking bowling when the field is backJust looks vastly more like himself when he's ticking the score over consistently rather than hanging on for dear life (though I think Rohit assisted him hugely in this respect)
Konstas hogged the strike to protect his junior partner. So khawaja only faced 3 balls from Bumrah during his opening spell. Konstas faced the rest of his 6 overs making 33 runs off 33 balls
What do you make out of Usman putting his hand over Kohli's shoulder when his opening comrade was standing up to the bullingYes a fine is reasonable and if you disagree with me you're wrong and stupid btw
