**Official** 4th Test at Melbourne, 26-30 Dec 2024

Can we get done with cricket powerhouse thing? Imperialism is a thing of past now.
What has building a legacy of being an all time great team anything to do with imperialism?

It would be pretty shameful with the amount of resources that India has that they are not able to produce a dominant team like the Australian and West Indies teams of the past.

No other nation is this invested in cricket as India is. Instead of this mud-slinging with Pakistan over CT venues and bullying other poor(er) cricket boards, I'd rather they focus more on building world class squads across all formats and let the results do the talking.

It starts with being ruthless with washed up superstars who are holding this team back.

To Bumrahs credit he has held up well fitness wise this series. However, if he is asked to grind another 20-30 overs this test by Australia it will be tough going for the 5th test when India will definitely need him. I could see Rohit actually not using him much outside his opening spell if he thinks Australia are going to roll with it anyways in the 3rd innings.

If Kohli didn’t want to run he should’ve been screaming in Jaiswal’s direction. He had his arm raised and turned his back to him. Just poor cricket.

I do agree that Jaiswal shouldn’t have tried in the first place though.

Man, Smith isn't actually washed, huh.

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand I love seeing great players going out and proving why they are greats. And it's sad to watch post-prime greats playing like a shell of their former selves. But on the other hand, it was kinda fun specifically when it was Smith...

I agree with what you've stated. But let's get done away with "powerhouse" term.

If Kohli was backing up appropriately he would have made it as well. It was entirely Kohli's fault I'm afraid. Sending back the striker when you're at the bowlers end to a shot to mid on is hilariously bad cricket
QFT. That run out was 100% Kohli's fault. And it was hilarious when he got out himself one run later. Should have crossed to let the superior batsman attempt to chase his second hundred of the series.
