Pretty disappointing result for the Warriors, it was 2-0 in their favour until the Storm crossed in the last 20 minutes.

Jesus, is that the lowest NRL score ever? St George beat someone 7-1 last year IIRC which is the lowest I can think of.

thats the lowest NRL score yes, that Dragons game was 8-1 vs Eels...

Lowest score in first grade rugby league was Newton v Canterbury in about 81, finished 0-0

Bloody hell. 0-0! Musta been missed drop goals galore. Was it pissing down then too?

Just checked my tips, on 4/5 so far; missed Chooks/Cows. Have gone for St George for Monday.

just the way it was back then, teams scoring over 14-16 points and losing was pretty rare back then mainly because of the fact the defence was so close, it was only a 5 metre rule rather than 10...

If anybody is interested, here is the player transfers for next year:

Mark O'Meley (Bulldogs to Roosters)
Brent Tate (Broncos to Warriors)
Peter Wallace & Joel Clinton (Panthers to Broncos)
Travis Burns (Sea Eagles to Cowboys)
Aaron Cannings (Eels to Titans)
Timana Tahu (Eels to NSW Waratahs)
Michael Monaghan (Sea Eagles to Super League)
Ben Cross (Storm to Knights)
Shaun Berrigan (Broncos to Super League)

Ok the Berrigan one isn't offical yet, but he is going to announce a three year, $1.5m deal with a Super League club (which one I have no idea) once Origin is done with.

Crikey Simon. You deserve your Hall of Fame status. All the best mate.

Yep, same, this thread wouldn't be the same without him.

Some of the foundation members have been leaving in recent times (and I suppose it is time to move on a bit for some), so yeah all the best.

Wow, i didn't think you were going to leave completely Simon. Echoing Craig comments this thread wont be the same without you, you did keep it going for a while there when we didn't have many NRL fans.

9 hours after you posted that, Radio Humberside claimed he's signed for Hull to replace Swain. They're usually quite on the money. Flagged the Cooke deal about a week before everyone else picked up on it.

I just want to know how Shane 'Horror' Hayne jagged the Ref gig for tomorrow night. It's proof that Rugby League administrators have a sense of humour. He's (justifiably) rated by the players as the worst referee in the game. Hampstead, Simpkins and Clark are streets ahead. Even Darryl Hair would have been a better appointment.
