yes, go Chelsea

how did Deco not get booked for one of the worst dive's in history?

(does Portugal have the most divers in world football? Ronaldo, Figo, Deco...)

I've been drowning my sorrows by losing a lead in the title race for Tottenham on FM.

We're not out of it as yet, we had more than enough chances for me to be encouraged, Carroll is a ********.

Yea, at least Man Utd know any win (except 1-0) puts them through, so it's not too bad really. Hopefully one of the genuinely English clubs (Chelsea or Man U) teams will make it through.

Where have all the United fans gone? :)

Mr Carroll, that was an absolute shocker!
It's a shame that you support an Italian club over an English club neil, not even i would stoop that low. I support any English team in Europe(unless Arsenal are playing at OT obviously).

Err they're club teams so I'll allow them the odd foreigner and anyway Redgrave & Pinsent were coached by a German but they themselves were still British.

It is. Blame Halsey.

It's the same reason I ended up supporting Australia over India - the fans...

I try. But Halsey's such an annoying smeghead, my desire to mock him overrides all rationality.

Interesting.. Thats another reason I don't like England when the barmy army start piping up..

I guess its stupidity and sensationalism, or louts..

So how come Man U & Chelski qualify as "genuinely English" when us (& presumably The Scousers too) don't?

I almost always support English clubs in Europe, but make an exception for that other north London lot. I think I'm on pretty safe ground, but if Peterboring ever qualified I'd struggle to support them too.

I think you're pretty safe there, somehow.
