a) No I wouldn't because it was a foul.

b) They between them cut off Pires' route and thus impeded him illeagally.
a) If that was a foul, then most of Ronaldo's dives were also fouls.

b) How exactly? There is no way a prod is cutting him off.

Ferdinand, G Neville (defensively), Scholes, and actually quite like Giggs.
So Horse's goals in Europe in mean nothing? 8-)

He's 2nd in the all time list, and he's played about half the games Raul has. Yes, comeplete crap, I agree. How many goals has the oh-so-great Henry scored in the pinnacle of club football?

Champs league draw has put up some brilliant ties.

Barca vs Chelsea
Milan vs Manure
Bayern vs Arsenal
Leverkusen vs Liverpool
Real vs Juve
Porto vs Inter

and
Werder Bremen vs Lyon
PSV vs Monaco
Whoever wins the Barcelona and Chelsea match wins the Champions League for me. The Real Madrid and Juventus game will be execellent. Porto shall be too weak for Inter Milan (with Adriano in the form he is in).

Monaco could be the surprise packet.

The Chsmpions League games aren't till next year. Some new signings may be in by then so winners acn't be predicted yet except for cases like Porto vs Inter.

Tonight's MotD - a showcase in how not to defend. Norwich, Palace, West Brom, Saints, United - all dire.

I wouldn't actually say that. Who Inter sign (ie defenders that are pretty good and not cup tied) will determine how far they travel in the competition.

Jermain Defoe was not picked for Euro 2004 why? Yet he misses out for rubbish called Emile Heskey and Darius Vassell. Heskey scores for the first time in 13 matches, yep great player.

Maybe he has incriminating evidence against the English manager...

I never said that.I'm talking about the next round.Inter will clearly beat Porto but for the other teams it's not so clear cut because new signings or a slump in league form may be factors.

That is what I'm saying about Inter, you never know what you will get from them. At least on the bright side that Inter are the only team undefeated in all the major top flight divisions in Europe.
