PSV are far worse than Lyon in Man Utd's group and both Man Utd and Chelsea cruised through in tougher groups than Arsenal. Arsenal were only playing for 9 men for quarter of an hour ish and any decent team should be able to hold their own against PSV with 10 men. As for Vieira he's the most underrated diver in the Premiership and gets away with plenty so he's due some unlucky dismissals. They should indeed beat Rosenborg easily, but they should have beaten Rosenborg easily when they played them before and contrived to horlicks it, either way it will be a miracle if Arsenal get beyond the quarter-finals.

Hurray the French mercs flop in Europe against poor opposition again. Gonna be so funny if they fail to make the knockout stages after being in such an easy group.
Given your location, I assume you support either; Newcastle, Sunderland, or Middlesbrough?

It must be a bitch being a supporter of Southampton or Portsmouth, and having to travel up there to watch your team play twice a year (if you go and watch and play away).

1) PSV are arguably as good as anything in Uniteds or Chelsea's group, also to hold them to 1-1 when you are down to 9 men has to be considered a good result.

2) Lauren was an absolute **** im glad he got sent off though i hate people that try to get other people booked. Viera was unlucky. I expect them to get through easy, IIRC they might finish top if PSV slip up away.
1) No they are not. If Arsenal went down to 9, it was their own fault anyway, and before the game anything less than a win would have been considered disappointing. Well they got a draw - their naff form continues.

2) Both sending offs were stupidity, they knew they were on a yellow. If Arsenal play anything like that in 2 weeks time, they will have big problems getting through.

Newcastle fans have the longest travelling distance in the Premiership, with 4,328 miles, including the 367-mile slog to Portsmouth and back.

The longest travelling season in the Country belongs to Plymouth Argyle, with 6,146 miles, with a maximum of 416 to Sunderland and a minimum of 152 to Cardiff.

Aston Villa, with 2,234 miles, have the shortest voyages to make.

lol PSV are not worse than Lyon, on paper we have a much better team, the only concern for me is that Lyon have a tougher slog week in week out against sides like PSG, Marseille, Auxerre while PSV's current challenger is AZ. we are urrently in cruise control, doing enough to do what we have to, still unbeaten in the league and top of the CL group is a fair effort id say....

as for Chelseas opposition PSG are in shocking form, havent been in the top 10 in ligue 1 this season, Porto arent doing much better and CSKA are barely or Europea standard...

Being top of the Dutch League is like being top of the Scottish League, only slightly harder. Doesn't matter who's top they should still be cannon fodder to any decent Italian, Spanish, German, English etc. team.

For the record I don't support any club teams because it's all rather pointless to me supporting a bunch of mercenaries over another bunch of mercenaries allegedly representing a city when virtually all of them don't come from the city and most don't even come from the same country. I do however hate certain teams more than others, for instance cheating French crybabies Arsenal and the mediocre mercenaries from everywhere but England Bolton Wanderers. As far as I'm concerned the clubs should be there to produce good English players not foreigners to knock us out in the next Euro Champs/World Cup.

im not denying the Dutch league is inferior to the major ones in europe, but the current PSV team can hold its own against any club side in the world....

Seeing as there's at least 3 very good sides in the league it's a lot harder.

AZ are an emerging side, they were the last team other than the big three to win a first division title in holland, 83 i think, but they are coming back, have some exceptional young players, sitting well 2nd in the league and have played solidly against the big sides when they have played them...

Rewind 12 months you would have said exactly the same thing about Monaco and Porto.

with the possible exception of Ajax
Pretty unjustifiable statement given PSV currently lead them by 13 points
