On top of England's atrocious performance, having heard some of the disgraceful chanting from the crowd this half i wish this friendly hadn't of happened
I wish they'd walked off when that started up - would've made a point.

No doubt UEFA will find a reason to fine the English fans for it.

The other thing that annoys me about that is the way the heat on the petulant number 9 from the press won't be so strong now.

And the FA Cup upsets have started!

Magic, City. Magic!

See if you can spot me on Match of the Day - about ten rows back behind the goal in the City end. Doubt it, not much happened at this end of the pitch.
Slough's result over Walsall was better.

Lol, how do you lose to a team that is in the Ryman Premier and in League One?

TBH we probably should have left the pitch the chanting whenn Wright-Phillips gets the ball is absolutely despicable, something has to be done about it by UEFA/FIFA, not sure they'll do anything though
I will love to see the day anything happens.

I am getting Championship Manager soon from my football mad mate of mine in the next few days. I can't wait to play it.

Arsenal get lucky again with a mistake from the 'keeper, Chelsea were highly unlucky to only get a draw, as they hit the bar and everything.

Arsenal had 11 shots to WBA's 4

That their goal was lucky does not sway the fact that they were on top for almost the whole of the game, the result in itself was not unlucky whatsoever

Yes, well the fact that they were on top means nothing, if they couldn't put away their chances. And they would have put away none of them if it hadn't have been for a mistake.

At least the mistake involved the opposition and not the referee.
We've had one lucky decision that I remember (Saha's handball). Going on memory here so could have forgotten an obvious one.

Yet Chelsea did exactly the same thing (missed chances) but they are 'highly unlucky' according to you? you cant have it both ways!

There are other ways of being unlucky rather than just missing chances.

Do you mean Football Manager 2005?
I think it is actually last years version.

It is better to do it that way then fork out money for the game at Harvey Norman (and see if I like the game).

What one do you have Marc?

Inter won over night (yay) even if it is in the TIM Cup.

Inter have no become majority shareholders in Spezia Calcio, so that will probably mean Inter will set up a bus and send all their young players there on loan to get some first team experience in the Serie C1 (or C2).

I have FM 2005 - I think anyone on here who has it will testify that it is far superior to 03/04.

First time I've actually watched the action on the 2D pitch and thought it looks realistic football.

How much does it retail over in the UK?

I'm looking at paying $60-70 for it over here. Maybe I will ask for it for christmas...

Have to agree there - although a few minor quirks (like a cross from the goal line going over the keeper and in).

Too hard to win though (well, that's because I'm used to CM2, where I won the CL with Lillestrøm and got Fredrikstad to the Premiership from Division 2...)
