Meaning sod-all in qualification terms, since they've already won three out of three and have Rosenborg at home left to play.

Getting a draw at home to a relegation team was awful and they very nearly lost, which would have been much worse than losing away to a top half team on current form.
Still top though, 9 points and 6 places above United. Perhaps Manure are lucky that there is a plethora of poor teams this year, after all they are only 10 points off the bottom

So they’re above us, but they’ve thrown a few points lead away to let Chelsea catch up and very nearly overtake them if **** hadn’t scored.

Not quite, they have won one and drawn three. Nevertheless, as you say, they have Rosenberg at home, and i fancy them to turn PSV over in Holland

Oops, messed that up (don't even know the tables of my own group...) btw, Rosenborg, please.

Yes, but they’re far from qualified. If this form continues, and they draw their next game, it’s out of their hands.

The same Chelsea that lost to a very poor Manchester City side, but as with Arsenal, they're usual consistancy is such that they can afford these results and not lapse into mid table.

Nah if they draw the next game (away in PSV) they'll still qualify if they beat Rosenborg in the last match.

To Håkon, sorry for misspelling Rosenborg, blame it on Henning.

Um, rubbish.

If they draw and win, they get ten points, which means they'll tie with PSV (who'll also get ten if PAO gets eleven) and be ahead on head-to-head.

They've shown admirable consistancy in the Champions League this season...three games out of four they have taken the lead and thrown it away :D

Even so in the prem 8 wins out of 11 is as consistant as any (so is 1 defeat in 51) and is certainly a lot more consistant than 4 wins in 11.

Yes but PSV's curent GD is +2 Arsenal's is +1, if Arsenal win and PSV lose the last match Arsenal's has to be better.

If its done on results between the sides, Arsenal won at Highbury.

It's between the sides as it's an UEFA competition. The Um, rubbish was actually to Tom :D

And sorry, but I can't blame a man with 99 caps for Norway...how about Jesper Blomqvist? ;)

How about Tore Pedersen? we signed him back in the early nineties, then he did his cruciate ligament on like his first appearance for us!

Yep, i remember at the time I was looking forward to him teaming up with the legend that was Gunnar, but then he was injured and left.

Depends if you're a side who's ambition is to stay up or if you're expecting to challenge for Europe.

Didn't United go through this when they last won the Premiership in 02/03?

I remember a loss and draw against Sunderland and Leeds (one relegated and one nearly got relegated), anything is possible, but it seems very unlikely. I would rather Chelsea win it then Arsenal. What about the odds on doing the Premiership and Champions League double?

Yes Manure might have done it 2 season ago - but they were also pretty poor for a bit of last season, as well as this - and now there's 2 teams 9 points ahead of them who aren't going to throw it away.
