What do people consider the chances of Claudio Ranieri being sacked by Valencia in the next few weeks if thet suffer another loss or two especially in the league and in Europe?

as an Arsenal supporter I am dissapointed to have their unbeaten run broken b4 reaching 50, and even more so that it was at Man U..........

but the thing that gripes me the most about it is the nature of the defeat.............it's not like they were beaten by the better team on the day.....

while the ref did admirably overall, IMO the lapses he had were crucial..........Ferdinand got the benefit of the doubt but it probably would have gone the other way had Freddy's touch been better...........van Nistelroy should have got a card for the tackle on Cole - the incident then upped the tempo & resulted in 3 cards shortly thereafter..........and of course the penalty awared for Rooney's dive.............

I admitt that the latter appeal for Cole's tackle on Ronaldo was a better case, but by then the complex of the game had changed - Man U wasn't looking like causing many problems in attack until the penalty, then the game opened up for them as Arsenal chased a goal...........

I am also disappointed that Arsenal lost their shape in attack in the last 10 mins.........still now that monkey is off their back & hasn't cost them anything apart from the record at this stage & I'm pretty confident that this will help them get back on track...........

as a side note I hope this ends the recent debate re penalties concerning Man U & Arsenal :p

Im glad man utd won, not only makes the league more interesting with chelsea and arsenal so close, also brings man u back into it. Apart from the penalty being awarded and the rvn "tackle" i think the ref got everything right. A highly enjoyable game, i was sure something was going to break out at some stage!

Looks like the same old season for Tottenham - make some great signings - even Ronaldo has said he would like to play for them at one point (because of his old PSV connections), but fall away and end up being a mid table club - again.

Mateja Kezman has been disappionting, but to be fair to him he has been coming off the bench on most occasions.

Could this defeat change Arsenal's season?

I'm shocked at how Blackburn or Southampton are going this season.

was always going to happen IMO, they just seem slow around the pitch, something about them...

he should never have left us, hes sitting on the bench at chelsea and we are leaders of our CL group in front of Arsenal and the trip to highbury is already taken care of...

lets hope so, Man Utd really got in their faces, as expected, but i see it a good game plan to try and roughen the up a bit, committ a few fouls and dont let them pass the ball the way they want, i can seea few teams adopting this strategy now...

To be fair to Southampton, they are shot for numbers, so many injuries to such a small squad is impossible to deal with. Blackburns seasons has been unacceptable, the squad they have should be a mid table team at worst, as my "EPL" team im unhappy with them, but i will get over it if they go down....

Exeter will not go up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Albion are going down though
Go on then, with your huge knowledge of the Conference, tell me how you're so sure. There's still around 15 teams in with a playoffs shout, and from then it's one in four.

To be more accurate, there are 14 sides in with a chance of a playoff finish.

One will win the league, so that's 1/14 = 7.14%

Four of the next 13 will reach the playoffs, so that's 30.77%
Multiply that by 25%, and it's 7.69%.

Add the two together, and it's 14.84%.

Up the City.

Out of interest, is it Crawley, Dag & Red or Canvey Island that has no chance of the play-offs on the teams within four points of it?

Aye. Then I look at Barnet's goal difference and points. And wonder how the hell Exeter has 7.14 % chance of making first place...
