Hmm looks like Arsenal turn out to be also rans in something else, being the ultimate cheating scum team of Europe. Bayern were a disgrace to football yet again, there were at least 2 blatant attempts to injure players along with the usual diving. The 'tackle' on Drogba was criminal, the guy ran in and went straight for the knee - later on there was a cynical attempt to injure Joe Cole.

Wow. Way to make it about Arsenal there, champ!

What about the riot in Milan? Instigated by a passing Bobby Pires no doubt?!

No, I was talking about the fact they already have Rooney and Smith (as well as Saha for what use that is) and that formation only needs 1 central man.
To be honest, van Nistelrooy's the best suited to play the one striker role of all of the lot. Rooney's more the behind the striker player. With Ronaldo and Giggs on the wings. Scholes, Fletcher and Keane in there in the middle. Phil Neville's a keeper too. Looked impressive in the loss. Kleberson too, and Quinton Fortune sorta. A defence of Silvestre, Heinze, Ferdinand, O' Shea, Neville and Brown isn't the worst either. If Howard can concentrate for ninety minutes+ then that's a side worthy of playing the best in the world. Smith's pretty good too. Saha and Solskjaer can contribute when they're not injured and Richardson's one for the future despite what y'all might say. Jonathan Spector's a good one too.

Phil Neville is not a keeper.

I would have turned it off if Bayern had looked like winning the tie. Just seen the amount of stuff thrown on the pitch in the Inter v AC Milan tie... incredible - where on earth were the police?

Blimey with the squad that brilliant, it's a wonder you're struggling away in 3rd and just lost to Norwich.

Perhaps you could look at it a bit more objectively.

To play the 4-3-3 which Taggart wants Rooney is a better option for the front role because of the roaming way he plays to interchange with Giggs and/or Ronaldo.

Then Keane and Scholes in the middle for now but desperately needs another midfielder.

A defence of G Neville, Ferdinand, Silvestre and Heinze is fair enough, but Phil Neville, Brown, O'Shea and most of the others you mentioned are vastly over-rated.

Also, a goalkeeper is a must.

So if he can only buy 2 players this summer then a Keeper and a midfielder should be gettable on the Horse proceeds.

Then it'll be a case of looking for replacements for Giggs and Keane the summer after.
