I would have turned it off if Bayern had looked like winning the tie. Just seen the amount of stuff thrown on the pitch in the Inter v AC Milan tie... incredible - where on earth were the police?
The police and stadium authorities are absolutely useless.

How else do you explain Inter fans bringing a Motor Scooter into the ground and throwing it onto the pitch a few years back?

So if he can only buy 2 players this summer then a Keeper and a midfielder should be gettable on the Horse proceeds.
Blimey! I knew profits were down at Moan U, but Heroin dealing?!? I'd have thought that was beneath even them!!! :D

No, I was talking about the fact they already have Rooney and Smith (as well as Saha for what use that is) and that formation only needs 1 central man.
Well it doesn't matter, they will won't sell van Nistelrooy, and van Nistelrooy doesn't want to leave.

And for the man to play in the Lampard role would be Tomas Rosicky form Dortmund who maybe on the cheap since Dortmund's finances are going down quicker then Leeds' (which say's a lot).

And If they did sell him, they would only buy another striker (They can have Cruz or Recoba, who BTW I sold to in CM 03/04), and not worry about about a top class 'keeper (they are going to have sign somebody if Carroll and Ricardo leave on a free in the summer and I don't know if Luke Steele is good enough, I heard he has potential but haven't seen him play much).

The orginal question is how on earth they got it into the ground.

I expressed my disgust in the CL Predications Thread. As I said apparently this was all planned as message to Moratti (something on the lines of what Aston Villa fans think of Doug Ellis except the crowd violence). That would explain why so many went off at once.

Mind you Lazio and Roma fans decided to have a go at each other last season.

Gee I bet quite a lot of clubs in Europe and in South America should currently be serving bans then?
No, because how many games have you seen abandoned because of the fans in recent times?

So I see Rio Ferdinand "met" Peter Kenyon at the weekend.

The excuse given is he popped in to see his agent to pick up some paperwork.

How convenient that is (!), but it doesn't wash with me - that would have required him to remember he'd got to go and pick the papers up!

Check out today's "Knowledge" - the so-called "Best league in the world" (property Sky TV) is behind Spain, Italy, Germany and France.
Whoever says that shouldn't be listened to. The only time i've heard that "best league in the world comment" was in reference to the action and general pace of the game, which again is debatable.
