So then whats the issue with the discussion?cristal said:I know that.
Um, I gave birth and my husband wasn't there! He had to work!silentstriker said:If your husband wanted to play in the Ashes, and you guilted him into staying, then yea, he should divorce you.
That, I agree with the other guys who said that you're a tad bit ignorant on the issue.silentstriker said:So then whats the issue with the discussion?
Depends on a) did he have a choice? ie. would he have lost his job if he took the day off? and b) did you want to divorce him?cristal said:Then I should've divorced my husband?
Well I didn't die and I'm sure the Lees can afford the best doctor that Sydney has to offer.
And? Who here is blaming you?cristal said:Um, I gave birth and my husband wasn't there! He had to work!
Well, a)He owns a business so he wouldn't have lost his job. He had a very important meeting to seal a deal, I understood how much it would mean for his business.Matt79 said:Depends on a) did he have a choice? ie. would he have lost his job if he took the day off? and b) did you want to divorce him?
Of course she would want him to be there, but they were caught between a rock and a hard place and had to come to a decision together.Because if the answer to either question is "no" then obviously not. But Lee has a choice, and what I was saying was that if his wife DOES want him there, then I think she'd be within her rights never to talk to him again.
Well it seems that way doesn't it?If he wants to play, and she doesn't care, no dramas.
What are you on about?silentstriker said:And? Who here is blaming you?
You said it was no ones business but theirs, and we should not discuss it. I said we should because it affects us too. And then you said your husband had to work while you delivered a child (??).cristal said:What are you on about?

But I think he has his priorities all screwed up and will regret it later. (And I'm sure he cares what I think)Well it seems that way doesn't it?
Sure he does. Is your name Liz?Matt79 said:But I think he has his priorities all screwed up and will regret it later. (And I'm sure he cares what I think)
cristal said:It doesn't really affect you. It affects the team and Lee's wife.
Yes my husband had to work, so I have no problem if the decision is either way.
I can empathise with Mrs. Lee.
Well a woman would have to take all that into consideration before you decide to marry a man who's that committed to his job. I would know.Matt79 said:No. But I'm sure Liz will make time for him when he gets dropped or injured. Just a bit selfish IMO, but different strokes and all that...
Yeah, I have nothing to do today.Do you realise you more than tripled your post count in one evening after 18 months of membership?
Well he did say that he is playing the 1st test, so you don't have much to worry about.silentstriker said:Of course it does! He is a public figure, and his actions and appearences have an effect on people other than just himself.
I do have a problem if he misses an ashes test just to see a kid pop out, I mean...wait five days ffs....he doesn't even have to go out the country.
The kid won't be that different when he's five days old. Cleaner, but otherwise pretty much the same.
