Sorry! :D I did offer earlier...

Ok:

First clue: 20 other Englishman were accorded this honour, but what distinguishes Hollioake, Thorpe & the two others is that they were not accorded an honour the other 20 were.

Second clue: All have played tests & ODIs

Thanks BB the answer was players who have captained in ODI but not in Tests for England :)

Okay time for a cryptic one :p

Aust are high with 28 but England win with 30? A year(s) will be part of the answer :wacko:

Early clue it is an Ashes question :)
