Q8 Did it have anything to do with the speed of scoring ? Yes

You are obviously onto it !!

I am going off line now !! Will check answers tomorrow. :D

Tapioca

State Vice-Captain
Inman holds the record for the 'fastest' 50 in first class cricket - 8 minutes and 11 balls - scored in dubious circumstances when the opposition deliberately bowled badly to expedite a declaration.

Then he had an extra ordinary feat of scoring 51 runs in just eight minutes
with 50 of the runs coming in just two overs. Nottinghamshire were giving
away runs in the hope of a declaration by Leicestershire with 199 for 3
wickets. Bolus was the bowler and Inman took a single off the last ball of
the over. Inman then hit 18 - 4,4,6,4 and 32-4,6,6,6,6 and 4 off successive
overs from Hill. The previous fastest 50 was by Jim Smith of Middlesex who
scored 50 in eleven minutes against Gloucestershire at Bristol in 1938.

From a very good link about him : http://usenetsports.com/archive/index.php/t-771449.html

Patience is a virtue Jason.
:)

Maybe we need to start another QA thread? What about a sequence thread, you know what comes next eg- Aust, Eng ?

Or a better idea, do you have one?

Archie Mac, there's already 2 trivias on CC. I have no ideas. But if you are keen , why don't you start one in OT ? :D

That will give us another thread to be involved with ?

How about calling it Archie Mac's Cricket trivia ? :D There are loads of people who hang out only in OT who never ever come to CC or participate in threads here let alone cricket trivia.

They may get interested and participate in OT cricket trivia.

Besides there's a dumb thread called Another game or some such stupid thing like that in OT . The purpose of which is pure and simply post boosting and stupidity !! :D

There are people who post on threads like those in OT, who will definitely get involved in something more interesting like this.

It could even be a simpler Trivia or not so trivia if you know what I mean. :D
