Over a year on....

Hoggard IMO is still rubbish :)

Flintoff's turned into a mighty fine all-round cricketer.

Caddick is the 2nd best bowler in England IMO.
Unfortunatly Caddick's Test career is all but over.

Don't count on it. We have a long summer ahead of us, and the chances of all of Anderson, Hoggard, Harmison and Jones all remaining fully fit for the entire time are roughly zero. Unless you are going to be able to convince me that they didn't pick Martin Bicknell last year, I wouldn't write off Caddick yet. But I think his chances of featuring in next year's Ashes are pretty low.

Cheers,

Mike

Bond from NZ is overrated IMO.

I havent read the first 800 odd posts so this may be a repeat, in fact i'm sure it would be a repeat but i'll still say it.

Like Mike, I would think it likely Jug-ears would be very much in the selectors' thoughts for this season should there be an injury crisis. Cork, alas, may not be.

There are many dissing Michael Clarke.
Who am I to say they're off the mark?
It's becoming quite tricky
when comparing with Rikki
to tell them apart in the dark.

And who has rated him as anything extraordinary? That said, he's not mediocre.
umm 43 ODIs at a bowling average of 38 and a SR of 5.68?if thats not mediocre its pathetic.
his test bowling avg is even worse but since hes only played 5 i didnt bring that up.
AFAIC he should focus on his batting where he does have a lot of potential and maybe just maybe he'll make it into the aussie side as a batsman in about 7 years after they lose the ashes to england :p

Then there is Richard Johnson, Martin Saggers, James Kirtley (the ideal game I would play him in). And what's the progonosis (sp) on Freddie's groin? Is it still injured or not?

Is Kabir Ali injured ATM?

Over rated not in absolute terms but relative to the hype about them by their fans.

As for England, I was just pulling some sore legs here :)

Caddick is better than all four you mentioned.

And yes, mercifully, Kabir's injured.

And any reason for that or just the fact he has fun against the Australian top order in ODI's?
