I would had been much more concerned had you totally agreed with all 51 of the placements....Definitely some placings I would change here, and might have a go later, but what a magnificent undertaking a top 51 is.

Me too considering you didn't list Woakes.I would had been much more concerned had you totally agreed with all 51 of the placements....
Silly me!! How could I had forgotten Woakes of all people!?? He surely goes to the spot ahead of Grace.... His batting average in England for once is definitely higher than him.Me too considering you didn't list Woakes.

I don’t see how that’s an unreasonable opinion. The guys above him are all ATG batsmen except maybe Trumper.Punter at 7th????

53rd, just after Keith Stackpole.Where would you rank Cowper?
What do you mean by "Maybe Trumper"?? By all accounts he averaged 48 while batting in middle order and his reputation dwarfed all contemporaries..... If we are talking of real stardom in cricket, he I believe is one of Australia's Two Mega stars alongside Bradman.I don’t see how that’s an unreasonable opinion. The guys above him are all ATG batsmen except maybe Trumper.
I know, seemed kinda harsh even to me. But I have reasons individually to place each of Chappell, Trumper, Border and Waugh ahead.Punter at 7th????
Not entirely crazy but yeah I personally don’t have Trumper up anywhere near that high.Punter at 7th????
Where would you place Trumper among Aussie batters?? I can definitely see arguments for Trumper to be with Hill, but I don't think placing him so high is unjustifiable really.....Not entirely crazy but yeah I personally don’t have Trumper up anywhere near that high.
I can definitely see arguments for rating Chappell/Ponting/Border/Waugh in a multitude of different orders.
BradmanI don’t see how that’s an unreasonable opinion. The guys above him are all ATG batsmen except maybe Trumper.
And that's completely fine, probably majority shares your sentiment. I just feel Chappell's more rounded record, Trumper's legacy, Border's tenacity and Waugh's dependable nature; just places them a little ahead of Ponting.Bradman
Smith
Ponting / Chappell
Border
Waugh
But that's just my opinion
