I've been hearing terms like load management like it's the new NBA. I may be remembering wrong, but don't recall that being a thing.

WTF. It's not a flex. It's showing that due to lack of support he had to bowl even when he was exhausted. Pay attention to series of arguments ffs.
And I'm saying that amount of overs wasn't that heavy as to be exhausted.

Additionally, it's crazy that everyone is talking about lack of support when they are intentionally picking lesser bowlers because they think they might add something with the bat.
Something that has always been morning short of insane.

Telling this directionally, Kapil was capable of handling even longer workload than Marshall. But kyear2 considers him bits and pieces.

No one said Bumrah is a workhorse iirc.

That's a different discussion on team selection.

Bumrah has to have his load managed. To be fair he is still producing comparable worldclass output but I think it's fair to say if you put him in the place of Hadlee in NZ he would be in a lot of trouble.

3 international formats and a full 2.5 months of IPL. Players from previous eras were not playing as much cricket. They even used to have a rest day in middle of a test match.

What does that mean? Do you think the team making that decision (one you think is wrong by the way) means that bumrah doesn't actually have poor bowling support right now?

Oh Yeah, ofcourse the only reason Akashdeep and Siraj are playing is because of their top notch batting....... Can't totally disagree though, Akash's batting has been more valuable in this series than Rohit's

I hope for Bumrahs sake there isn't a serious dropoff in performance in this last test in Sydney due to fatigue otherwise I think it becomes a legitimate bone of contention to deny him a spot in the Marshall, McGrath, Hadlee level even with great numbers.

The funniest part is, if anything, we are playing with one batsman less with Rohit Sundar in the team...... I mean, he ofcourse is better than our batsmen anyways.

Will Rohit play in the 5th test?

I would like to hope so. Guess he has a good chance of bringing his average below 40.
