It got people's attention alright but with some laughter,though one guy took it rather seriously.

I am not defending the article, I am just telling you about your 'Holier than Thou' attitude. Look at the bragging by your pakistani brothers who think that he is the next Glen Mcgrath.

Hahaha. Well I think that writer is doing a good job of ****ing our neighbours off. Even though I dont support such adjectives, these things are not new Kapil being called 'Haryana Hurricane' , Waqar - 'Burewala Xpress', shoiab - 'Rawalpindi xpress (all early in their careers).

Except that Kapil, Akhter and Waqar were/are World class bowlers, while Khan and especially Pathan aren't class bowlers.

Well, you shouldn't have taken him that seriously. I didn't take him seriously, Infact I dont even read Times of India because it's more like a tabloid. If you read a tabloid that's what you will get.

Respectable ? TOI is not respectable, not anymore. One just needs to goto their main page to notice it. Most people I know have given up on TOI long time ago. It's time you should look for other newspapers for news. To start with try Outlook or Hindu.

Sir Isaac Vivien Alexander Richards would be 50 or in his early 50's? I think he could bat much better then Afridi now. In fact Richards in his prime could of batted left handed and still bat better then Afridi.

It doesn't matter WHEN you started reading the artcle. I did read that article completely, i don't need ur suggestions on what papers i have to read. Man Pak bowling is a pile or garbage, even Bangladeh could have done a better job. Sami is probably the worst ever OD bowler and what the hell was Naveed doing? 17 runs of just one delivery...LOL. I was dissapointed with Indian batting a bit, i thought if we had Laxman we would probably had reached 400 total.

I think India was better than Pak in all three department of the game, Batting, bowling and fielding.

Though the game went close coz of Inzi's brillaint effort, the rest of the games would probably won't go closer and i believe India would now win them at ease.

5-0 to India or maybe 4-1 to India, that what the series would go India's way.

I'd take the pakistani attack over the Indian one any day.

For a start, this is a blip and not in common with their usual efforts.

The same cannot be said of the Indian attack.

Irfan Pathan is a young bowler who has just entered the international arena and what i saw of him in Melbourne i must say that he is a good bowler with capacity to improve.

if grommed well he will be one of the strike bowlers of india

Well that gives them one more "decent" player than in the Indian attack then (if that's the definition you wish to give one of the best bowlers in the world) - that aside, the Pakistani attack is considerably better than the Indian one.
