I use my eyes to make judgements and form opinions sometimes, funnily enough. I don't need a machine to tell me whether someone throws a ball instead of bowls it, I can see it for myself in Murali's case in particular. His action sticks out from the rest like dog's balls. I know you are defending your player because he is a fellow Sri Lankan and can relate to your parochialism but why don't you take off the eye-patch and watch him bowl with both eyes without bias. As for living in the stone-age, I am a software developer living in one of the most youngest and most modern countries in the world. You're the one living in the Third World man.

The third world comment was way out of order, but in fiery's defense Murali does chuck(IMO) and in a more obvious way than anyone i've ever seen. Although he gets away with it....the fact remains his fantastic record will always be clouded with this controversy. Simple fact remains...too many doubt him, me included.

Muttiah Muralitharan because he has tried to overcome so much, just to be dragged down again by certain umpires and the ICC. I mean, he has proved that he can't bowl 'normally'. But if 'God' as he says made him that way why not use it to his advantage. I mean after all, it's just a sport

has to be hadlee. still the fastest player to 400 wickets. still holds the most 10 wicket bags. the key to his success was that he had bowled 2 or 3 overs before he started the test match. from ball one the batsman had to play - and we all know thats when ur most likly to get wickets.

That's not what they said at all. They said that under the old rules regime, 99% of bowlers displayed bending and straightening of the arm and would have been considered illegal. So OBVIOUSLY they identified the need to change the rule which they did. They didn't come out and blanket say that '99% of bowlers chuck' and y'know what, I reckon you know it.
