Yep.Is this for matches involving both at same time?
Clem Hill on the other hand had a pathetic strike rate of 59 more akin to a Ricky Ponting. Disgusting. In the matches they played together, Trumper had 4 150+ score (one of them was a double ton), where Hill had 2. And Trumper was certainly way better on wet wickets (both were considered equals on flat pitches). It can be argued that Trumper was the best wet wicket player. And add to that the fact that Trumper scored his runs at a S/R of 70, which means he scored as fast as Viv Richards.
He suffered from several health conditions, which made him less consistent.
There is obviously no statistical proof but swing was Gooch's main nemesis so he'd probably fare better/a lot better in the middle order with a proper sample sizeGooch as an opener, Trumper overall as a player maybe
What is that?even atanrserdised averages of Gooch and Trumper are same iirc
Don't blame me I'm sleep depravedWhat is that?
Where did you find the standardized average?Don't blame me I'm sleep depraved
DoG's standardized average is similar.Pews standardized averages have Trumper around 45 and Gooch around 41.
Where did you find the standardized average?

Trumper or Viv for you?On a more serious note I’d say Trumper was at his best better than Hill. But Hill was more consistent. But that’s just my opinion.
I asked Johan as he said their standardized average were same.Cribbage's Standardised Test Averages (UPDATED November 2018 - posts 753-755)
... as I was rather selfishly getting married. Congratulations. Good news.www.cricketweb.net
Only one was argued for to be better than BradmanTrumper or Viv for you?
