Yes received Mr P.

All information was sent out a fortnight ago and managers are now saying they haven't received things?

Well we're now 12 hours away and there's still 8 not having sent in - most disappointing I would say, not least because I've now got to do extra work to calculate these. For the record Blewy, it's currently:

Free State
Galle
Hampshire
Jamaica
Mumbai
ND
Warwickshire
Worcestershire.

give them nothing and all for sign on fees?

give thema strike for non submission, give them basic youth and medical which is how it is and then the rest of it for player signage.

Nope, random number generator will apply to determine what they get.

Blewy will decide what extra punishments will be added.

Galle
Hampshire
Jamaica
Mumbai
ND
Warwickshire
Worcestershire

what the heck. marc, just out of interest when were we suppose to have sent all this info in? it's been poorly publicised if you ask me, and I'm not impressed

hmmm, i don't even have that email anymore. i have read it, yet i'm not sure what to do with. i 'm really confused by this whole set up, if someone could give me an idea of what exactly i'm suppose to be doing that would really marc

In the email you should have been given your running costs. Using this figure you should determine what you'll spend on Physio, Youth Development and Sign on Fees. also, in the email it said you had two weeks to send that info in.

Yes it told you everything in the e-mail and even more in this thread. That's really just a very poor effort nibbs.

hmmm, that email is lost forever from my junk email. i've looked for the email address for the financial stuff in this thread, but i haven't found it. ill look again but gosh, it'd have been nice if there was some better info on the website or something for contact details and what not. this has not been organised well at all.

but anyway it i've sent my details to the wccc@cricketweb.net email, which can hopefully be passed onto marc. it had better be accepted. if it isn't this is a huge travesty of justice. in wcc there have been many instances of lateness and forgotfulness overlooked. like the time cloete had his 3rd non submittal of his team, should been sacked. yet wasn't, brcause people like me vouched for him saying he was good for wcc yadda yadda yadda. mr ponting submitted his teams quite late for the playoffs at the end of the last season and ended getting promoted in both divisions. i just thought i'd better make note of such instances before i'm told tough **** blah blah blah

I cannot believe you've actually asked this, it's not as if this issue has been a quiet thing that nobody has noticed in the last couple of weeks.

It has been far from poorly publicised, and the deadlines have been clear for all, that you chose to not follow them is your own fault, and you will bear the consequences.

for most hotmail users this email would have ended up in their junk mal box, in which messages remain for 5 days. if don't check this email box regularly chances are it would have been deleted before they knew it existed. furthermore if they can't be bothered reading through threads like this how are they suppose to know what to do? marc, perhaps email reminders would have been a good idea.

so marc, cloete didn't submit his team on 3 occasions in season 3 or 4. was he forced to bear the consequences of lateness? no he wasn't... likewise with mr p. last season when submitting his teams late for playoff matches. he submitted them late, and then even got promoted. are you trying to tell me this is different?

and btw, i still don't know what the finance email is...

I never realized we had to submit somewhere soon.. This thread was originally about " Finance Information - A summary " and after the first few threads clarified what i needed to know abou the finance system and went into other managers queries and discussions.. i thought well that was it.. i dont need to look into this anymore let me wait and see if a new thread crops up or anything of that sort..
I dont remember at all of anything with a deadline being set apart from posting the teams each week..

Since you know that you'll also know that it was received, so you have no grounds for complaint there.

The contact was in the email, every manager knew it was going on, and most responded within the time as expected.

What a load of rubbish - it has been organised perfectly well, you've just chosen to be difficult about it.

Strange how most people managed to reply then isn't it?

Firstly, you've read this thread, as you've responded, so have no point, secondly, if someone doesn't read a major thread in a fortnight, how interested are they?

nibbs said:

Why?

Firstly that contradicts your comment about people not receiving it. Secondly, I've made several comments on here about people not responding.

/QUOTE]

It doesn't matter if it's passed on or not, deadlines have passed.

nibbs said:

Irrelevant point.

nibbs said:

No, it isn't - a fortnight has passed with you not being bothered to respond, so the only person at fault is you.

Its the email they sent out with all the player costs and the budget for your team etc..
If you got that email then you should have noticed that a dealine was in the enail.

I have received it Lord, but too late I'm afraid - the original message clearly stated that I needed a reply.

As for all of the complaints from a certain Warwickshire manager, the fact he's suddenly found the address suggests he was talking rubbish about not having read the email in the first place.
