Do well to last till drinks in afternoon session. Was always likely to happen though, been totally outclassed this match, well done Durham.

Yeah, for all my ranting this has been a top performance from the Durham bowlers, they have a seriously good attack. Happy for Onions too.

Might last till drinks now but 2nd new ball should do it for Durham. Good to see Bairstow in the runs, could do with him getting that first ton today.

Borthwick finally gets Bairstow who made a good score (helped slightly by Durham's attacking fields giving more opportunities for boundaries).

Just the tiniest chance of saving the game for Yorkshire with this partnership, currently 87* between Pyrah and Sidebottom for the 8th wicket. 27 overs to go means it's still a very faint chance. 313/7.

This allrounder we have signed is having a good start to the season.

Reminds me of Saj Mahmood with the bat last season for Lancs.

Aargh, boo and hiss.

Still following the updates. Against all rational thought I'm still holding out for this one, if we nick a draw here it'll be one hell of an achievement, deserved or otherwise. 14 overs to go now.

So I decided to check some of the domestic leagues.
The English one is a mess. Several different format competitions each county club plays with more than one squad  Quite nice to see vast majority of players are Englishmen though.

And does Middlesex play in gaylike pink shirts? I thought the county cricket is often mentioned being opposed to IPL as a conservative cricket area.

Middlesex wear pink shirts because they support the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

The domestic competition is confusing to follow because of the number of different formats of the game. The county championship is the first class competition (division 1 and 2), there is a T20 competition played usually in June/July. And as for what the one-day competition format is this year, who the hell knows, they change it so often.
