The show of faith is encouraging, I would have preferred another warm up match, but I fully support the selectors decision.

hes not needing time in the middle and i guess its also a chance for me to return to the openers spot. Pete has definately put the pressure on for me to retain my spot at the top...

It is going to be a tough series for the bowlers, that's for sure, disapointing to see our spinner go without any wickets. Batsman found it tough too, Fitzimmons putting his hat in the ring for one of the opening spots, and considering the other perfromances by the batsman, along with Liam must play in the test side.

Will be interesting to see what formula the selectors go for, for the first test.

I wouldnt blame the batsmen fully for that below par performance there after day 1 that pitch was a minefield.. the ball was bouncing at different heights and the mumbai bowlers just had the best of that.. but still.. at international cricket we must learn to cope..

Heads up guys, it should be easy enough to bounce back from this.

The bowlers certainly found it difficult but the batsmen found it even more so. :(

It'll come good, just need to practice a little.
