Sorry to be the one that doesn't make excuses or say "Oh well!" but... that was bloody awful. Are we really so bad that we do worse than a club side does against an international side - when being an international side facing a domestic side? What are the skill levels in this sim? That seems really dodgy.

Troubling times when you get results like that. Glad a couple of our batsmen were able to do something in the second innings, but... yeah. Bugger.

Bad time for Neil to fall out of favour with his own body, but hopefully the team can pull things back together without his expertise.

Erm, last time I checked Liam was a medium pacer, and the idea would surely be to get the bowlers who are actually more likely to have to bowl in the Tests to get some experience.

A very disappointing result, but on a very disappointing pitch it seems. Some difficult decisions ahead of the first Test...

That was always likely to happen with the amount of overs I get to bowl in India. The hour-long stand of five with DK can't have helped...

Can I ask why the hell Gilo and I opened the bowling at the beginning of day two, however? It's not a good response to the questions raised over the simming tactics following the Bangladeshi debacle.

Positives were Liam's batting performance on the second dig. Sorry Simon but you're a better player than what you showed.

That sort of game makes me ashamed to wear the CWXI colours, we all have to pick up our performances if we're to not be laughed off the international stage..

By the sounds of things most moderate international sides would have struggled given the pitch conditions in this game.
Not an ideal precursor to the Tests at all.

ummm......well....terrible, just heads up guys, everyone knows they are better players then that. Tests are where the real compertition is so lets shine when they come around. (will be interesting to see some of the selection decision to be made ahead of the test...)

Well at least we aren't going to be over confident going into the test matches. On a test match standard pitch i do think we'll do a lot better and could cause an upset against the Indians.

Well that sucked. And we lost Pickup too. That makes it even worse. Just take heart in knowing that the Tests are where it counts. Most people won't remember these matches if we win the series so.. let's go out there and win the series.
