You need to remember that the Dev League XI is picked based 100% on FC performance from this season. Unfortunately you two just didn't have a good FC season... I can't help that, unfortunately.

Hey! You're still able to play in the OD series. It was never designed against you - I can't control how well you did this season. =/ I'm sorry, but you just haven't performed in FC, and to give you favouritism would be nothing but, well, giving favouritism. I was reluctant to play myself but marc insisted that the captain had to play. Probably trying to help his team's chances. But yeah, seriously mate, don't take it personally, because I've spent more time looking at stats than names and that's exactly how I'll be picking the final team - by performances and statistics from Season 8's Dev League. 'tis just one game.

By the same token you could be moaning about the players in the Bar XI - some of them are hardly Devs are they!

Neil Pickup is invited to return as 5D Bowling XI captain for the second season in a row.

Wright was not included as he had confirmed he will not be available for the charity matches. Should Halsey not confirm availability by the 21st, Borcich will enter the starting XI and AAA Collins will become 12th Man.

Bowling XI still to be confirmed for the OD match and Batting XI still to be confirmed for both matches. Dev League XI also still in the selection process.
