Almost all the players that have done well in Reds are contracted and/or have played tests, that's the problem! :p
umm...*tries to make subtle hints towards self* :p

I was trying to keep it limited to 20 players and CP Thompson just took your spot due to his batting average and having a few more wickets at the same bowling average. However I like to keep an open mind and therefore I propose the two of you have a fight to the death in order to sort out this problem once and for all.

I'd say it would be best to pick someone for the team they did best in. So, if someone was the 5th best bowler and the 10th best batsman they would be on the bowlers side, and vice-versa. So, Cunningham would be a bowler and Wilson would be a batsman. Also, will it be done on average, or runs/wickets?

If it's runs, you wouldn't even have to change the batting order for the batting side, the top two are both openers. ;)
Surely they go in the bowlers side in the interests of actually getting a close game? :)

What? You guys don't have fights to the death around here? Aww, man...

I added him to the list, truth be told I thought he'd already played a test but I must have had him confused with Kennett. :p

Says the captain of last year's (and quite possibly this year's) Bowling XI. :D But yeah, that's a good call and probably the way it'll end up going. :)

Liam A. Camps is available for selection if there's any room. If not, Liam A. Camps is available for umpire duty.

In an ideal world, over a dozen more people will also join, then I can have four teams of twelve to work with. :p How many days do we have available for charity matches, Liam? I need to know how I can sort out the OD's before the three one-off games.

The 29th is the scheduled cut off date, but the 24th and 30th are days off, so they may be utilized too if necessary.

I'd also like to announce that the Dev League XI team that will be playing the CW Bar XI will be made up of Dev League players who have both never played a test for the CW XI and have no central or secondary contract with the CWBCC. It will include the best of the best of those players who fit this category... and also myself. :p
The CW Bar XI is just finalising our line-up, 9 names have been confirmed, just waiting on the last 2 to confirm for what promises to be a great occasion!
