I'll play if i'm available for selection. Also, I'd like to bowl some Off-Breaks.That's what i intended to bowl when i signed up but i'm not doing too bad with the pace.

I will be making myself unavailable for the charity matches, hopefully I will get some decent rest and get another contract in Australia.

I'd also like to announce that the Dev League XI team that will be playing the CW Bar XI will be made up of Dev League players who have both never played a test for the CW XI and have no central or secondary contract with the CWBCC. It will include the best of the best of those players who fit this category... and also myself. :p

The players being looked at are as follows...

A Blackman (CW Black)
A Feeney (CW Green)
A Lezama (CW Green)
AAA Collins (CW Blue)
BC Cunningham (CW Green)
CP Thompson (CW Black)
DA Kearsley (CW Black)
DP Richards (CW Black)
DP Towns (CW Green)
DY Dubb-Lynch (CW Black)
GKK Dobson (CW Red)
MW DeSilva (CW Blue)
MW Wilson (CW Black)
NA Borcich (CW Red)
NJ Rose (CW Green)
NS Hoy (CW Green)
RJ Dauth (CW Red)
SA Bennett (CW Red)
SE Fuller (CW Blue)
TJ Demeza (CW Blue)
TN Weber (CW Green)
dissapointed not be named on this list especially after delighting the crowd so much last year in the charity games... I haven't played a test and don't have a contract either. it's all falling down.

You need to remember that the Dev League XI is picked based 100% on FC performance from this season. Unfortunately you two just didn't have a good FC season... I can't help that, unfortunately. :(

Depends on the severity of the injury... will have to go to Liam for that answer.

I'm flying the flag for us senior citizens! :p OK, it's only my second season, and I probably won't get picked, but happy to make the final 20-odd anyway. :)

Thanks guys - that's 40 players so far! Looking forward to 8 more if possible... and hoping that those eight will include Feeney, Dubb-Lynch, Lezama and Thompson or else they'll never have a hope of making the Dev League XI. That's both of the keepers I had my eye on, too...

Still, that'll be the last charity match played, a lot more to think about yet with a possible seven-match OD series between four teams if we can get 48+ players available. If I get 48+ players, it'll be like this...

Day 1 (24th) - 2x OD Matches (Team 1 vs. Team 2, Teamd 3 vs. Team 4)
Day 2 (25th) - 2x OD Matches (Team 1 vs. Team 3, Teamd 2 vs. Team 4)
Day 3 (26th) - 2x OD Matches (Team 1 vs. Team 4, Teamd 2 vs. Team 3)
Day 4 (27th) - OD Final
Day 5 (28th) - Bat vs. Bowl (OD)
Day 6 (29th) - Bat vs. Bowl (5D)
Day 7 (30th) - CW Bar XI vs. Dev League XI (5D)

If however we only have enough for two or three teams for the OD's, we could end up with just a few OD games instead of the seven currently in the OD series. Last year we only had three, so it's no biggy.
