I'm looking forward to reading it.

But to spoil you...

I'd heard a previous interview where he said it was hard to build any suspense about such a countdown because it's a foregone conclusion that Bradman is number one. Now he's ruined the surprise further by giving away the top three!

Hey guys welcome to capt_luffy’s Youtube Channell! It may surprise you to learn that I’m not here to talk about One Piece, I’m actually here to talk about Test Cricket! Gotcha!!!

Now for the first video in my 12 part series on Victor Trumper and why he was better than Don Bradman.
If I Ever start a YouTube channel, I promise to make this intro atleast once.

I am sorry for bringing up Kimber a few months ago and Kyear picked on him and has been using him ever since.
Fortunately I’ve never watched one of his videos. It just seemed to come out of nowhere here “Jarrod Kimber says” as an argument, which kinda put me off him before actually seeing him in action. The book sounds interesting though. Shame that its only about batsmen.

You are not the sort to fall for argument by authority.

Jarrod Kimber (again who the **** is he?)

I think it might be time to bump the thread when Bradman got voted a little lower than expected on CW. There are always some surprises.

Bradman, Hobbs and Tendulkar is probably the most generic top three possible, and the objectively correct one.

I'd have preffered if he glazed Viv a bit though.

As someone who never watched a minute of The Simpsons, Apu?
Such a shame, both that he’s gone (I understand and respect the VA’s decision to stop voicing the character, though I don’t know why he wasn’t simply recast like other characters… iirc many Indians response to the character was quite positive - please anyone feel free to correct me on this) and also that you’ve never watched a minute of the Simpsons. Truly, during its prime, the peak of animated TV. (I still love u more tho Futurama)

I have considered watching Simpsons, but 700 episodes seems a bit too long.

Oh I would not reccommend watching the whole series. Not at all. I’ve definitely not done that.

The true “Golden Age” varies from person to person but I’d say S1 the show was still finding its feet. S2-10 are probably what’s most commonly referred to as that Golden Age, some would end it a bit earlier or later. And there are some standout episodes afterwards. The movie was also worth a watch imo.

Also Manga > Anime both in quality + time investment.

I mean, ofcourse. I watched the whole of One Piece only once, read the Manga whole thrice (last time during Oda's eye surgery break). Think would give Simpsons a go, might as well start from S1
