I personally rate both Murali and Warne over all ATG quicks. Controversial opinion obviouslyLillee > Warne

Murali/Warne over Marshall?I personally rate both Murali and Warne over all ATG quicks. Controversial opinion obviously
Neither areeither both Murali and Warne are above Marshall and Hadlee or neither are, there's no logic to pinpointing Warne.
Agreed.Smith> Chappell >Ponting
Warne> Lillee> Cummins
I guess Chappell/ Lillee is the safer bet to work in unison
Same argument should apply to Barnes.what is this double standard? either both Murali and Warne are above Marshall and Hadlee or neither are, there's no logic to pinpointing Warne.
I got Warne ~ Murali but Barnes over either pretty clearly so it's contextually different for me.Same argument should apply to Barnes.
Ok. Back to the argument though, I find it hard to separate Warne and Murali too, as I do with Hadlee and McGrath, Steyn and Imran, and Ambrose and Lillee.I got Warne ~ Murali but Barnes over either pretty clearly so it's contextually different for me.
Elaborate.Same argument should apply to Barnes.
Wish I could say it was sneakyOk. Back to the argument though, I find it hard to separate Warne and Murali too, as I do with Hadlee and McGrath, Steyn and Imran, and Ambrose and Lillee.
I misinterpreted his argument actually. Mine was that either Barnes should be ahead all top tier ATGs or behind.Elaborate.
It shouldnt be controversial to say Lillee is ahead of Ambrose.Wish I could say it was sneaky
I mean, he has already made it clear why he rates Marshall & McGrath ahead of Barnes, so no room for misinterpretation really.I misinterpreted his argument actually. Mine was that either Barnes should be ahead all top tier ATGs or behind.
Ambrose was everything Lillee was, but better and more spread out.It shouldnt be controversial to say Lillee is ahead of Ambrose.
Maybe the WPM.Ambrose was everything Lillee was, but better and more spread out.
Either Barnes is the best ever or we should rank him behind the dozen or so usually listed great bowlers.I misinterpreted his argument actually. Mine was that either Barnes should be ahead all top tier ATGs or behind.
Lol that doesn't make any sense.Either Barnes is the best ever or we should rank him behind the dozen or so usually listed great bowlers.
Yeah except he wasn't as skillful or nearly as penetrative a bowler and much more reliant on his pace to get wickets which showed as soon as his pace declined, unlike Lillee who took 5WPM all stages of his career even after back injury.Ambrose was everything Lillee was, but better and more spread out.
