Ambrose was better in Australia and equally awesome in England. Then he had returns in NZ, SA and Pakistan; and was comparable at home.
If you truly, really, believe that W is important, then you should rate Murali as the GoaT.

I've refuted the Barnes crap a bunch of times, there's no point in me doing the same thing over and over again. I'm actually much more comfortable trashing even Viv than you are with watching Imran get trashed though.

He had middling returns NZ, Pak and SA. Lillee just flat out better at home. And better in Eng too frankly.
Yes Ambrose was ATG in Aus but frankly that is pretty much the only argument he has.

Lillee was hardly better at home, or in England. Imo, he was better at neither. Ambrose in Australia makes it look borderline silly.

Ambrose take less than 4WPM@21 at home at 55 SR.
Sorry if you think Ambrose is better at home, I don't know what to say.

So you think Murali is the best Ever? Takes 6 WPM, way out of reach for anyone else. Lillee's average just sucks arse. And it's interesting to see a Wasim fan uphold WPM as some holy grail.

No but we argue all the time that Murali may be the greatest at home. Away though he doesn't sustain that level of performance in many countries which is why he is downgraded.
