In the 1980s, who scored a Test double hundred, and was dropped from the side forever one test later ?

Dropped is the key, he was not injured, and was available for selection.

Question -

Father Played in one World Cup, Son played in two.

Father played one World Cup (and one game only), Son played in none (but Tests).

Father played none (world cups) (but plenty of Tests), Son played in one World Cup.(solitary game)

:p Name the Father and son combinations.
(before biased_Indian jumps on me :fear: for asking too many questions) :scared: Only the answer to first combination in bold is accepted as the winner. :doctor:
Others are bonus questions for fun. :phone1: :bye:

Bold= Chris&Lance Cairns?
Lance played 3 World Cups (75 Semi final, 79, 83), Chris played 4 (91/2, 96, 99, 2003).

Must be bold one then as his dad never played tests!
Correct - Don Pringle played 2 ODI s for East Africa in the World Cup of 1975. Derek played in 2 world Cups 87 and 91/2.

Alan Butcher (Father) played 1 World Cup ODI game (probably in 83), while Mark played none.

Hanif Mohamed played No world Cups but several Tests, his son Shoaib played a solitary World Cup game .

Over to Marc.

Who were the first county to win 3 trophies in one season?
Gloucestershire in 2000 (NatWest , B&H Cup, National League)

Lancashire first Team to the double 1990 (NatWest, B&H) and again in 1996, 1998 (Natwest , AXA league).
Surrey have done the double of sorts in 2000 (County Champs Division 1, National league Div 2), and 2003 (inaugural Twenty Twenty and National league ).

Warwickshire 1994 (County Championship, Benson and Hedges Cup, AXA League) (They had a chance to win a fourth when they played Worcestershire in NatWest final which was a replay of B&H final, but lost to Worcestershire this time)
