Do they all have some sort of cricketing achievement in common?
NO.

Not an achievement though what is common between them is a cricketing matter.

Do they have something in common re. minor cricket ?
NO.

I think this wont work. So I am giving the answer and will post another question.

All these players are "Bombay Exiles". Players who left Bombay to play for other first class sides in India.

Give me 15 minutes to post another unless someone else wants to go ahead. Thats ok too.

Which Carmody is this as captain ? Pls clarify :)

Is it Keith Carmody the umpire or Keith Carmody the NSW and Western Australia batsman of the 40's and 50's ?

If it is the latter, is he the one who suggested this team :) (Cant think of many people who would include him with the other illustrious names here)

SJS has sort of given a hint as to who the likely person who named this Team could be.

Since Carmody was obviously from NSW , only a player who played with him would have named him in their side. Since Lindwall is the only New South Wales player there, I would guess that this Team was Lindwall's Team .

Am I correct Archie ?
