Mushtaq Ali - 1936 & 1948/9.

The longest gap between two successive hundreds is Warren Bardsley - 1912 and 1926.

Good work and it is Mushtaq Ali, there were 12 years and five months between his 112 at Old Trafford in July 1936 (India's first Test century overseas) and 106 against West Indies at Calcutta in January 1949.

Now it is your turn,

First player (although briefly) to pass 2000 test runs without a century?

2000 runs without a century and Chauhan are the answers.

Since archie is willing to give the chance to tadeusz, he can ask the next one.
