All batsmen in the Glamorgan 1st innings made it into double figures. That could be a rare occurrence.

twc is so close I'll give it to him.

It's actually all 11 batsmen, plus extras - think it last happened 20-odd years ago.

Yeah but how often does someone score 28 threes and not get a century - or just 28 threes for that matter? Not wanting to hijack the thread but can someone tell me what the record is?

Not the trickiest though.

I expect LE will have something from the depths of time that will take ages for us to get!

Take pity on my feeble cricketing brain, i've only been interested in the sport for 2 years, a blink of any eye in time compared to some of the masters on this board. :p

A J Stewart c Russell b Walsh 3 (September 1986)
A J Stewart c Frost b Carter 74 (July 2003)

What links the two dismissals, a feat completely unique in first-class cricket?

Hmm....I looked at the 1986 card & Stewart was the 3rd wicket to fall with the score on 5......was he part of a hat trick ?

yeah its either he was part of a hat trcik on both occasions or he was one of three wickets to fall on 5 & then four wickets to fall on 288....

Or something like that.

I know....I know....I got it.

The keeper's in both instances took hat-tricks (catches in three succesive balls).
First Jack Russell & then Tony Frost , Stewart was involved in both instances.
