Every ball I bowled in my ODI career was hit for winning runs !! Who am I ?

(Players who have bowled only 1 ball in their ODI career's are not eligible)

Please note a slight correction in the question.

Every ball I bowled in my ODI career was the ball off which the match was won !! Who am I ?

(Players who have bowled only 1 ball in their ODI career's are not eligible)

Yes. You are right on both counts. :D

Its amazing that he bowled only two balls in his ODI career and that too one each is two different matches. The first resulted in him being hit for the four runs India wanted to win and the second was hit for runs too but then the batsmen were run out going for another run and it was the last wicket pair of Zimbabwe. So Sri Lanka won. Need less to say, Mahanama has , probably the highest economy rate of anyone who has bowled in two matches or more :p

Well done.
Your turn.

I should have looked up the entire scoreboard :p

I just looked at the early Australian century makers and seeing Murdoch, decided that was it not realising that there could have been another 150 plus score in the same match !!

:)

Your turn Jason.

Question

The Only England cricket captain to star in a film with Elizabeth Taylor, founded the Hollywood cricket club, with stars involved in cricket matches including Nigel Bruce, Laurence Olivier and PG Wodehouse !!

Once had Gubby Allen's visiting MCC tourists stopping over and being in his audience during the filming of "The Prisoner of Zenda" and another England Captain Archie Maclaren in his audience during the filming of "The Four Feathers" .

Who is he ?

Sir Aubrey Smith, who captained England in one test in South Africa in 1889. Starred in the film Little Women which had Liz Taylor in the cast.

Which is the one stroke, WG is universally acknowledged to have 'invented' (for want of a better word).

PS I am having fun over this subject in another thread :)

If it's not a particular stroke you are after, then I think this may be the answer -

WG was considered a pioneer in a sense because he advocated and merged the practice before then, of batsmen either adopting forward-play or backward-play throughout their careers !! WG advocated that batsmen merge (and use) both !!
