Looks like poor SJS has not recovered from Sciatica yet !! Hope he get's well soon !!

I am going ahead and posting another question in the meantime !!
Once SJS gets better he can confirm the answer for his question !!

Question

Who is the Australian cricketer with the longest Test career (from debut to final day of Test) ?

As a supplementary- Who had the longest career for any country ? (this is too easy - so the answer to this will not count!!)

Over 24 hours gone !! No question !!

OK here's an easy one to re-ignite this thread !! Everyone please do try and maintain the continuing chain of this thread ! (If you post an answer please try your best and post a question if the answer is deemed correct !)

Question
It was first publicly recognised in a game between Middlesex v Leicestershire at Lords in 1900. Who is credited as its pioneer ? When was it first seen in Australia ? Who was the famous Australian cricketer associated with this ? :)
