Can Tendulkar get 100 international hundreds?

2 hundreds to get 50 test centuies and 4 more to get ODIs is easily gettable..but 24 centuries..thats a whole career there..

Ideally I would like him to retire from ODIs after the World Cup..Firstly, he has achieved everything in ODIs...no one is close..and the number of ODIs reducing in the near future..I dont see anyone getting even 10000 runs.

But he needs to carry on in Test cricket...he needs to get that 300.. Or else 20 years from now, you will find 15 year old imbeciles on Cricket Web say Tendulkar never got a 300 but Sehwag got 2 against Akhtar and Steyn..so Tendulkar is a FTB...

If he retires from ODIs but continues in Tests for another couple of years, then there's another 5 or 6 centuries at least there for him if he continues in the same vein.

Admittedly 100 First Class hundreds would be a massive ask...however, were he to continue to play First Class cricket in India as well as maybe a County stint...it might just be possible.

On the contrary I think it was a masterstroke. It ensured he stayed in touch with competitive cricket all around the year without having to really sacrifice his fitness. I think not playing at all for a big part of the year can be sometimes as fatal as playing allround the year. a fine balance has to be stuck and Sachin managed that.

Could have sat out of them and played at least of one of the ODI series. The affect would have been same.
