Pollock has one of the most successful records as captain in the history of the game. Performed well as captain (over 40 with the bat and under 22 with the ball).
Imrans greatest success was in the World Cup, which given the title of the thread is not relevant.
Imran also had personal issues with players such as Miandad.
However, saying all that, it has to be Imran given his longevity at the helm, captaining more tests away than home, his playing performance whilst captain and his ability to help younger players.
