Kardar led Pakistan to victories over all the test playing countries that he met. As a pakistan fan, I am suprised to hear you say that. Surely, he has contributed to Pakistani a lot more than even the likes of Shoaib Akhtar?

And Farokh Engineer was arguably the greatest wicketkeeper in Indian history and he was the first XI wicketkeeper in Rest of the World XI in 71.

I don't know as much about Mushtaq Ali, Roy Dias, and Modi so I'll remove those three.

With an average of 23.76 over 26 matches with a highest score of 93, I'm not so sure if Kardar should be in this particular battle.

Captaincy is all that he's got, judging by his stats he was very average at the rest.

It may be stupid, but how is it inappropriate if people of CW believe they should advance (after all, that is what all battle threads are about - posters of CW opinions). By excluding people because of an opinion you hold (mind you, its not wrong, match-fixers suck) you're only excluding ones that have been completely banned, when we all know that more were involved. Lets not be naieve here.

Like I said, I can only go by those who were convicted - not those who were suspected. Were more involved? Yea. But there is no way to know who was innocent and who wasn't - except those who were banned for life.

As for opinions, I don't care if you vote for Asif Iqbal over Imran Khan. Thats an opinion. Match fixers shouldn't be in any cricket related competition IMO.

No it is not. They did wrong, they got their punishment. They deserve the lifetime ban as a cricket player but thats it. Thankfully the Indian cricket board has realized that and have moved on. I think fans should move on too. Evreyone deserves a second chance.

Like I said SS, I don't care if you want to exclude them really, its your battle and I don't feel strongly enough to really argue with you, but you're not including a lot of good players. Fact is, in the end Azhar is going to go down as a better batsman, captain and thus player than Marvan Atapattu (who's name is spelt wrong in your list), and IMO would have likely won the battle over him. Unlike the captaincy battle (which one can argue match-fixing has a direct influence on captaincy), it doesn't have anything to do with the ability of a player, which some may vote for in these battles. Others may vote on who they like better, or various reasons.

Anyway, your choice.

No. He wasn't even the first choice keeper in the era (behind Bari). Unless, some other people also nominate him, then I'll put him in.

Also, with your nomination you must give a name to remove. We are looking to go down to 64, not higher up.
