Bit of a surprising result here, to me - could be the case that there's nothing specific cited for Speed that has resulted in him getting no votes.
I don't think Malik's crimes go down to nincompoopery so much as just being a greedy, corrupt SOB.
I might have said Goughy, if he ever expected to play for England again and didn't - but given that he did, that just makes him look smart, not idiotic. Dunno, tough call, that one, in today's professional era where it appears that players still have all the obligations and duty and coaches/selectors have none.
So I guess I'll just vote for Malcolm Speed - if we want to shoot for a singular, clear reason, then his ludicrous trip to Zimbabwe (and following reassurances) during the player strike easily qualifies.
