Thank you to all who voted Jumbo. May I also back James90, as I think he is the only active member to be a Bangladeshi (or related to Bangladesh). I also nominate Neil as the number three.

BTW, what is the point in this thread? I agree with Pratyush, we should select a team before every Test/ODI and sim the game.

Im not so sure about simming the games.

I think it would take the realism away, because the selectors would just begin to select those with the highest averages in attempts to win the simulated matches.

It looks as if the Indian area is very over-crowded out here with - Arjun, Honestbharani, Pratyush, SJS, Masterblaster? and me making it 6 people out here in race for the 3 Indian spots, it wont be a bad idea to have some sort of a competition between the 6 so that we finally arrive at the 3 Indians who will do it for India. Also, if any of the 6 want, they can take it up for some other team.

Another thing, whats the meaning of "Banana" in the topic "Best. Game. Banana."?

Well, I've looked through the votes and so far, the results are as follows:
-honestbharani & SJS lead the way with 6 votes apiece
-arjun has received 3 votes, as has pratyush (1 proper vote)
-four others have received 1 vote apiece

Thus, I would suggest the following:

CW India Selection Committee
honestbharani, SJS, Arjun, Reserve: Pratyush

There will be far more than six people who'd like to be a selector, but I'd have to admit that this group deserves the distinction, based on their knowledge and contributions as CW members. And no, I wouldn't want to become a selector for another team. I'll prefer serving as an assistant to one of these Indian quasi-selectors.

Haha, got some heavy competition for the South Africa spot.. I've been almost the only SA fan on here for four years and it's quite tiring, although nowadays I could co-host with Joanna which is good..

I'll take the Namibia vacancy if we are doing minor nations :D

India - SJS, Pratyush
England - Neil Pickup, Barney Rubble
West Indies - Liam
Chubb - Zimbabwe


Thats about all I can think of.. I never really know if other nations fans are talking sense or not!
